Expect a design process that you haven’t tried before.
You have the pieces in place to begin organizing your fundraising event. Your team has is willing to put in the work to ensure that it is a success. In one committee meeting you will be able to work through ideas and problems that may have taken several attempts in the past. This creative design process for event planning will quickly eradicate misconceptions from team members, pull into focus clear objectives for your event and keep everyone on the same page. Even if you don’t have a committee working with you, you will be better equipped to lay out an event that is carefully crafted to maximize return on investment and emphasize the connection of event participants with your organization. In total, the process should take less than three hours and you will be well on your way to planning the details.
Expect more than a cookie cutter list of options.
Before you start, we should tell you this. This program does not include a list of events to choose from. Instead, it relies on you and/or your committee to come up with the great ideas after narrowing in on important parameters. Each great idea can then be vetted against what you have indicated as most important to your event goals. By participating in this design process, we hope to inspire a thoughtful process by which you and your team comes to a decision and alleviate the sense that you may be “stabbing around in the dark” for a solution.
